SKA Cleans Up at TCBA Memorial Tournament

By Patrick Farrell
Stuart, Florida — For the first time, the SKA sanctioned Maddie Williams’ Treasure Coast Builders Association. And, not surprisingly, the Division 10 boys clean house, placing first, third, and fourth in the 100-boat turnout. Held at the beautiful Pirates Cove Resort and Marina on an equally beautiful sunny day, the tournament was comprised of both inshore and offshore categories. It was the 28th annual event for the TCBA.

Coming in first was Bill Wummer and the Spiced Rum III Team with a 34.3-pound king, sponsored by Yamaha, Tuppens Marine, and Spiced Rum.
Bringing in the third spot was Stephen Miller and the Shady Business with a Yellowfin running Yamahas with a 32.83.

Fourth place belonged to All In. Lady Angler, Kalynn Handy, and the team landed a 32.30 pounder.

All in all, the Treasure Coast Builders Association’s Memorial Weekend Tournament was a fantastic event at a beautiful venue. We encourage the Division 10 members to put it on your calendars for next year. Many thanks to Maddie Williams who did a great job hosting the tournament. See you next year!
